The half moon sections that oem throttle plates have are crucial, because they allow vacuum to be released through ports co-respond them on inner walls of your carburetors. Made by Keihin using highest standards that ensure only the best quality for exact fit and proper function in all conditions. The plate stamped with m stamping will not work for fcr-racing model's, see my other listings that slide. Will also cause inconsistent idling when leaking or worn.

I highly recommended a new vacuum plate o-ring when replacing the slide, if slide went bad its because was not maintained and extra movement caused damage. Corners have been cut in the design causing more grinding on inner walls by not allowing vacuum to be released through top. If you remove the top cap of your carburetor will see what I am referring.

The lower tapers on slide that tuck in between body and venture ring at bottom are also not there completely flat design of 60 selling. 1x vacuum release plate l for Keihin fcr racing carburetors will fit all 35mm - 41mm on dirt or street bikes. They will ruin the inner wall of carburetor due to poor design. The slides were designed in such way by Keihin for a reason and I have explained above why.

Billet aluminum is way stronger than cast that the carb made from and will take a beating. Something to keep in mind before buying parts.

The vacuum release plate is loose on flat slide assembly that serves as sort of a valve to help regulate engine vacuum, particularly when starting.
