However, applying glue is a royal pain for most people. You can easily feel places where the adhesive goes over gasket, and actually see these if place test plate gasket press. Wait for a few minutes to see if the plate falls off that would imply leak. You'll also need to get an adhesive like 3m 847 scotch grip 5 oz.
