A lot of plug and play devices will promise wonderful results, but unfortunately most them are pure snake oil. Impossible to break, unless you do something really stupid. If you trick the fuel injection ecu to think ambient air temperature is lower than actual readings, will richer up injected mixture by a certain amount. Route the wire with NYC resistor to a place where is not effected by engine or radiator heat and zip-tie it in.

The fact is that Boosterplug only plug and play device offers a stabilized enrichment of mixture with different ambient temperatures. Stronger and more reliable idle. Reduced puffing in your aftermarket exhaust on engine braking.

Now I can slowly release the clutch from standstill and have bike rolling without touching throttle. Most of the competitor device manufacturers don't bother to inform you about this, or have knowledge it. The Boosterplug contains a male and female connector, so you can't connect them wrong way. By far the biggest difference I noticed right away was newly found silky smooth shifting.

This is actually a very good result: - installation really easy - just follow these steps to install the Boosterplug: locate air intake temperature Ati sensor in air box and unplug it. It plugs directly into your bikes wire harness using original connectors no cutting or splicing. Enrichment of fuel air mixture when you open the throttle will improve acceleration.

Its been a total success in every respect for me: - idle, especially right after cold start, is smooth as silk, no missing or hunting. Remove the jerky low speed running that is typical for modern lean burn engines.

Basically, it is done by adding some extra resistance to the air intake temperature sensor, and method have been tested thoroughly many independent sources actually works. My bike is now a real delight to ride.

Idle feels stronger. Theres only one sensor in the air box, so you cant pick wrong.
